💡 Objects Emojis

Object emojis are the workhorses of documentation and product content: they label steps, mark tips and break up dense instructions.

A reliable convention has settled around a few of them — 📌 for saved items, ✅ for completed steps, âš ī¸ for cautions and 💡 for tips. Following it means readers do not have to learn your system.

Tech objects (đŸ’ģ 📱 🔋 âš™ī¸) date visually: platform artwork is redrawn every few years, so a screenshot from an old post can look noticeably older than the text.

For tutorials, use no more than one emoji per step. Two or more per line slows reading rather than speeding it up.
